What is a Virtual
Email?
An email 'alias' is an email address that forwards all
emails sent to that address to your existing REAL email
account.
You can have an email account be forwarded
to another webmail interface.
1. Under Add Forward Email
account, type in an email address prefix.
(in our case, info)
2. Under To mail box,
type in the email address you wish the emails be forwarded
to.
Click
Add and you’re
done! However, if the following appears, you have a
problem.
3.
If the above message appears, go back. You are acutally
using the prefix for an email address OR forwarding
already, you cannot have e-mail forwarding
and account setup at the same time
with the same name.
Please
make sure that the prefix you type in the Forward
mail box field is NOT
(used as an alias).
In other words, if you have created info@yourdomain.com
as an alias, you can’t forward it to another email
account.
What you need to do is delete the info@yourdomain.com
email alias. Please note that once you delete this alias,
all emails already sent to that address will also be
deleted.
After deleting the alias, retype the same information
and click Add.
